The excitement began with the premiere of an upcoming PSVR2 game during State of Play. The Foglands, a captivating sci-fi western roguelike set to release in 2023, promises a thrilling adventure. Following that, we caught a glimpse of an upcoming PSVR2 game in the form of Green Hell VR. The game offers a survival experience in the heart of the Amazon rainforest and is set to be released sometime this year.
Afterwards, nDreams unveiled Synapse, their latest VR game, set to release on PSVR2 in 2023.
Unexpectedly, State of Play delivered a surprise with Journey to Foundation, a PSVR2 game based in Isaac Asimov’s Foundation universe. Admittedly, Foundation doesn’t seem like an obvious choice for a VR action game, so I’m intrigued to learn more. Check out the trailer here.
Wrapping up the PSVR2 game lineup was Before Your Eyes, which features eye-tracking technology and is scheduled to launch on March 10th – that’s just around the corner!
After the PSVR2 segment, a launch trailer for the upcoming Destiny 2 expansion, Lightfall, was shown. The impressive new cinematic can be found below, with the expansion set to release next week.
Following that, we were presented with the charming game Tchia, which will be available on the PlayStation Plus catalogue from its launch day in March.
The next announcement from Sony showcased the games that are coming to PlayStation Plus in March. Among the list of games are Battlefield 2042, Minecraft Dungeons, and Code Vein.
Following this, Enhance, the developer of Rez and Tetris Effect, offered a glimpse into their latest game, Humanity. Set to release in May 2023, the game will be available on PS5, PS4, PSVR, and PSVR2. Excitingly, a demo for the game is now available for players to try out!
The release date for the teen dinosaur narrative game, Goodbye Volcano High, on PS5 and PS4 has been announced as June 15th, along with a new trailer.
Following that, an announcement trailer for the game Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections was shown. The title might be a mouthful, but here it is.
Continuing on, Larian Studios provided a new glimpse of the highly anticipated Baldur’s Gate 3, revealing its official release date: August 31st, 2023. Moreover, it will be available not only on PC but also on PS5, which is very exciting!

Lastly, as expected, Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was given a deep dive. The game is set to be released on 26th May and the first video, which showcases co-op gameplay, is available below.
